FAQ
How many different modes does it have?
There are 4 modes (icing, heat, EMS microcurrent, and vibration).
Do I need to put this in the freezer for ice therapy?
No! Using proprietary technology, the Alpine Skin Halo 2 is able to produce ice therapy in a matter of 5 seconds. Its cooling lasts 4x as long as traditional ice roller.
What if I don't like it? Can I return it?
No problem - there is risk free return within 30 days. We want our customers to all be happy.
How long does it take for the Halo to get hot (heat therapy) or cold (ice therapy)?
The halo responds quickly. Within 5 seconds, you'll feel the specified mode.
I don't feel anything from the EMS microcurrent setting, is it broken?
No. The microcurrent is programmed to be at a low level so it's safe for skin. It works even if you don't feel it. The ability to feel the microcurrent varies between person to person. If you are concerned about it "not working," here are a couple of ways to test it: lightly moisten your face (with water, serum) and then with the Halo on the EMS setting, repeatedly lift and touch the corner of the device (corner of the metal piece) to your face. You should be able to feel the mild current at that point.
Even for a fully functioning device, many people will not feel the microcurrent b/c of differences in skin sensitivitty, thicknes and conductivity. It doesn't mean that the product isn't work. Microcurrents are not supporsed to be strong, noticeable shocks.
I have a lot of redness, what mode should I use?
You should use the icing mode if the redness is caused by heat or hot flashes.
I have puffiness around the eyes, what mode should I use?
Puffiness is generally driven by fluid retention around the eye. Put the Halo on the icing setting + vibration and gently massage around the eye. This will reduce the inflammation and accelerate dispersion of the fluids.
